SRA

Ruma Piwakawaka are doing SRA's there are 10 colours of books: one aqua, two blue, three purple, four violet, five rose, six red, seven orange, eight gold, nine brown and ten tan. After the names it it says after names SRA's power builders. We do it for reading every day, every week.
We grab our maths books and a SRA book, then we read, then we answer questions about the story. You can have up to 33 questions.

Rabbits

We had to figure out what the answer was for our maths it was called rabbits. Some people did a different one. We could work in groups  and in my group I had Sophie and Jamie-lee. 

Compute it

We are doing compete it. To play it you have to look at the directions, they are in code, to get the pattern right.

I did a video of me doing a matific video and I did a block activity it was so fun and cool. You had to match the side of the other side of the picture.

Transformation using grids

Today we found an accredited image on Explore and selected it to use on our page. We then put a 5x5 grid on it so we could copy the image and make it original. Mrs Minehan selected the first two images so we could understand the process, then we got to choose our own image.
I found the first one easy to copy and I chose the image of the koru  because I was proud of my drawing.
Have you ever tried to transform an image using a grid? How did you find the process?

 Today we made dragons out of picture.  First we found a picture of a dragon and used polyline to draw around it.  Then we coloured it and then it turned out like this and on the inside you can different things in it too.  Have you ever tried this before?

We made suncatchers and we had to use paper plates scissors leaves string laminator sheets and paints. First we painted the paper plates cut the middle out then we let it dry in the sun. When it was dry we got our laminator sheets out and put our leaves in and put it in the laminator. Then we cut it into a circle and then we taped the panted plates to the laminated leaves then we put string and hung it up. Have you ever made a suncatcher like this?
