PET DAY!!!!!!

 Pet day is on the 11th of December. Pet day is when we all bring our pets to school. and I am bringing my cat Jake. 

Jake is a Ragdoll cat and he is a boy. Jake is about nine or ten months old. He is really cute and he likes to attack. Once I was going to say good night to my and she was in the salon and I was in the dark and Jake was hiding and then he attacked my feet. Jake has blue and grey eyes. He is white and black.

Summer learning Journey

This is my art work of the summer learning Journey it is on an app called Art colouring book. There was a couple of pictures that you could choose from. I chose this one. It also shows you the real picture. 

The day that Piper and Lily's stuff mytseriously.

I have learnt that my writing has improved a lot since the start of the year.

This is an example of my writing now.

 

The day things started disappearing 

The story is about two twins realising that things are starting to disappear and they are trying to figure it out.The characters are: two twins named Lily and Piper. They are both girls and they both have green eyes and long black hair and their age is 10. Feelings: surprised, scared, crazy.

One night Piper and Lily were watching a horror movie with their parents at 3am at night. The movie was about things that are starting to disappear. When the movie was finished they had to go to bed straight after because it was very late. Piper and Lily hoped in their beds and went to sleep. In the morning it was cold and Lily woke and saw Piper shaking because she was cold. She had no blanket cover on her. Lily looked all around piper’s bed cause she thought that Piper had kicked it off in her sleep but it was not there. She quickly woke up Piper and said  Piper did you kick your blanket off? No, did you take it off? No why would I. Piper shrugged then lily turned back around to her bed but her bed was not in the room. AAAAHHHHHH screamed Lily, where is my bed? It was just there. Piper said maybe this is just a dream. Let’s go down stairs said Lily. Lily and Piper walked down stairs and watched TV. After that they went back up stairs to their room and they saw nothing in there. They both screamed. There is nothing in our room that is not a dream. What do we do said lily. Go down into the basement, said piper. So Lily and Piper went down to the basement and saw a dirty old room. Then the lights turned off. It was pitch black and the piper said LILY you have there  eyes said piper. No you do, said Lily. then the lights flicked back on and there was another person there. Lily and Piper ran back up the stairs and called the police. The police ran down to the basement and they looked all around but they couldn't find the stranger so they walked back out of the house and they got back to their job. Lily and Piper were surprised. They walked back down to the basement and they looked everywhere. The stranger came out from under the bed and lily said WHY ARE YOU TAKING OUR STUFF AND HIDING IN THE BASEMENT?!!!!!!. Because I have no place to live and you guys have all the room. Well maybe we could help you find a different home said lily. Ok said the stranger. So Lily and Piper helped the stranger find a new home. 

I am proud of my writing.

FUN LEARNING WITH MRS MINEHAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Mrs Minehan came into Kereru and taught as about media. We learned this so we could know more about the media. There is lots of things like... radios, billboards, newspaper and lots of other things. I thought it was good to learn about the different types of media.  It was helpful because if you don’t know about the different types, you might just try to only use one,  like TV. I thought it was good to learn about the different types of media.  What media do you like best?

Mr Kinane's MICRO BIT FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 Day 1, Monday October the 12th.

 Mr Kinane came in to Kereru and showed us how to work a micro bit.

First he showed us how to work the app then he let us work in pairs. I worked with Lizzie. we opened up the app on Lizzie's computer. The we made a rock paper scissors and we made the rock paper scissors. Mr Kinane gave us a micro bit and the battery part and we plugged it into the computer and it started repeating of what me and Lizzie made on the square.

Day 3, Wednesday October the 14th.

First he showed us what we were going to be making. Mr Kinane said that we were going to making a gate. Then we got into groups of two and three. He gave as some stuff to make the gate. First we took everything out of the bags and we got started. First we put one of the micro bit in the center of the cricket microbit. And plugged some more peices to the cricket micro bit. Then we put a straw on one of the parts that we put together and we pushed button A and it started working.

Sort the comments

This is me and Indy's sort the comments work. First we had to put a thumbs up or thumbs down and then highlight the good ones and the bad ones.

fake or real animation

This is my real or fake Animation. Of me seeing a slime ball and bounces on me  and takes me somewhere haunted up at dark at night where a wolf, ghost and a skeleton go towards me and teleport's and turns me into a cat. 

Art

This is my Andy Warhol Art. We did it in term one. We did the brown and black background because we made it look like wood around our art. We used paint, dyes and vivids.  Have you ever done Andy Warhol art?

My Animation

This is my animation about the coronavirus and I hope you enjoy watching it. I used Google slides to make my animation and I duplicated the slides to keep it moving. Then I got the embed code and changed it so that the animation started straight away and kept repeating. I had to change the speed to 700 to make it flow. Have you ever had a go making an animation?

Horse Riding

I stared doing Horse riding at RDA. Here is a picture of me on a horse the horse's name is Polly she's white and she is my favorite horse. First we walked out to a bike track to a river all the horse's had a drink in the river then we went back.

My new pet Jake

I have a new pet cat called Jake. He is a ragdoll kitten and I will be taking him to pet day. He is a boy and he is very playful and at night he plays with my feet under my blankets he is so cute and he has light blue eyes he's very fluffy and friendly. I love my new pet cat Jake.

Coast to Coast

We did the Coast to Coast writing with Mrs Minehan. We had to write at least 1 fact about the Coast to Coast. I did three facts.

The Kawa Of Care

We are doing a Kawa of Care poster. We had to make a poster on Canva about the  Kawa of Care.  This is my poster.  Have you learned about Kawa of Care yet?

Right Place Right Time

My class is doing the right place right time with Mrs Minehan. There is 5 slides and we take screenshots of the ones are the right place at the right time

My New Class

My new class is called Ruma Kereru I have a cool new teacher called Mr Abbott. I have a new friend called Makayla she's really funny and nice.  All of my other friends are in my new class to. We're making me posters. It looks like you're in the paper.
