  1. How lucky are you getting to ride Polly Cooper. She looks like a lovely horse. How did you feel getting on her? Did you feel like you were up really high? Horses are lovely. My older sisters all rode horses when they were younger. I bet you are looking forward to going again when school goes back. I know I would be.

  2. Hi Coop
This is the post I have been waiting for!! You did really well with the horses that day. It takes a lot of courage to do what you did and just get up and go riding! Polly has a very pretty face. She looks like a unicorn, without the horn! Polly is on holiday in the Grey Valley for Lockdown. I love going horse riding, Tuesday is my favourite day because of this! Did you feel proud of yourself after that first day of riding? (I hope so, because I felt proud of you).

  3. Hi Cooper
Thanks for sharing the photo of you with Polly. She is beautiful.
What do you think Polly feels like, I think horse hair feels a bit funny, it is sort of smooth, but quite rough feeling at the same time. That doesn't really make sense does it?
When I was little we had a horse called Jack, he was an old racehorse. I always felt like I was so high when I sat on him, because he was very tall.
How do you feel when you sit on him?

It is great that you love going to RDA. Why is Polly your favourite horse? What have you learned to do at RDA?\

  6. Kia ora Cooper,
Wow, it is so cool to learn about how you do horse riding! That is such a fantastic image you have included, and I think it is awesome how calm and collected you look while sitting on the horse!
I have never really done any horse riding myself, only the odd ride here and there when the opportunity arose. My little sister, however, did horse riding quite a bit, and I always enjoyed listening to the stories of her riding around on the horses and having fun.
You mentioned how you are doing horse riding at RDA. What does RDA stand for?
You also mentioned how Polly is your favourite horse. How many horses do the RDA have?
It must be so exciting being able to learn how to ride a horse, and I can only imagine how gentle you would need to be getting up/ down them.
It is hard to get on top of a horse?
Do you have to wear any protection gear? If so, what?
How long have you been riding for?
It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
    Keep blogging!
